2008 Graduating Apprentices

INSTALL is an acronym for the International Standards and Training Alliance. It represents the floor covering industry’s most comprehensive training program for residential, commercial and institutional floor covering installers throughout the United States and Canada. But in Minnesota, it represents the best instructors, apprentices and floor covering mechanics in the Twin Cities area.

An International Labor-Management Committee for the Floor Covering Industry, which is supported by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, steers INSTALL curriculum and marketing. Members of this committee represent more than 450 years of collective experience.

The INSTALL curriculum is based on constant counsel and advice from technical and education experts from major mills and manufacturers throughout North America, who are formal endorsers of the INSTALL program. The goal is to make sure that what is being taught reflects current labor needs in the floor covering industry.
